I finished up these reversible shoes tonight while watching America's Got Talent. Steve and I thought of several other names that would better describe what we saw. For example: America's Got Weirdos, America's Got Nothin' to Do, Look Out Vegas, Would People Seriously Pay Money to See That?, etc. You get the idea. Then during a break, there was a commerical about Kraft Singles which touted them as the cheese only Americans could make. Hmm...because all other countries make good cheese, while we're busy cranking out rubberized sheets of orange chemicals called "kraft singles"? (Sorry if you're a fan.) Needless to say, it was a bizarre evening of "American" television.

Kalina! These are adorable. How can you teach me to make Koree a pair when you are in Texas?
The shoes are cute. I actually know the group of cloggers that made it to the finals of America's got Talent. I used to dance with 4 of the 5 sisters. So if you happen to watch next week, you should vote for them!
Cute shoes, Kalina! Now make some for little boys. :)
If you didn't make so much as an engineer, I'd say you should open an etsy account. But you're probably better off where you are.
So so cute. You are so dang talented it is nuts. We just got back from Dallas - WHY DIDN'T I SEE YOU AT THE GAME? ;) I saw some other guys there from Houston who used to be in my singles ward...long ago!
i hope you insist that steve wears those shoes to work...yellow side out
Oh my word! Those shoes are freaking adorable!
Last week while making a grocery store run for hamburger fixins during our camping trip, Rory dropped something in the cart that resembled cheese. As we were checking out, I noticed they were singles. :|
What did you get those for?
I want a cheeseburger.
That's not cheese.
Yes it is, it's American cheese.
No, it's not real cheese.
Yes, it is.
Um, it clearly says "Imitation cheese."
Oh...
He actually used it and it wouldn't even melt on his burger. Nas-ty.
Oh, cute booties. I love things that are reversible.
Kalina - I see we should have talked sewing WAY more!!!! I love the sewing group idea - awesome! And the shoes are so adorable, where did you get that pattern? The ones I just made so do not look that cute!!! Maybe next time we get together the boys can play games while we create. :)
