Last Sunday was so beautiful in Bountiful that we took a (very short) stroll "downtown" to check out the sidewalk chalk festival with my parents. I liked the concept, and it appeared to have been a fun activity for young and mature artists alike. The pieces ranged from panels of scribbling to intricate illustrations, with obligatory BYU/UofU fanhood declarations, anime, and Disney characters strewn across the walkways.

Is this a recent thing that Bountiful has started or did I just not get the memo on all the cool things going on in Bountiful when I lived there?
