Behold, a Crib

Some people (most people) get their nursery finished BEFORE they have a baby, while others (yours truly) save some projects to work on after the baby comes.  Crib bedding was one such sewing project I planned to work on with my loads of stay-at-home free time.  And 9 weeks later...it's finished, just in time for Clark to outgrow the bassinett.  As it turns out, free time for a new mom comes in snippets, not loads.

I think he likes his new digs.  He insists on waking up several times at night just to have another look.  I'll keep that in mind when choosing fabric for future beds...

He is adorable! And the bedding is really, really cute!

Good job. The count down until sleeping through the night begins.... I say 12 weeks means a baby can sleep from 10-6. Only a few more weeks!

Cute bedding! Sheesh - you're not kidding about the so-called "free time" when you're a mom. Maybe after they go to bed for the night. :)
