Shakespeare and Felines

Today while we were out and about we wandered into Goodwill to see if there were any lucky finds awaiting us.  I picked up this book, thinking it would be a nice addition to our literature collection...until I opened the cover. 

Kitten must not have appreciated "these words in this collection" since the book was, after all, at the thrift store.  Despite the possibility of pasting something over Tiger's note, I put the book back on the shelf and we left the store empty handed.

Birthday at Bella

We celebrated my birthday by going out to my favorite restaurant in Houston: Mia Bella.  We've only been there a few times because I like to save it for special occasions.  We laughed as we remembered the first time Steve ever took me there before a singles' metro prom in 2006.  We were on a group date dressed in 60's outfits with strangers.  We can't remember for sure, but think that one guy in the group ended up with two dates.  How does that happen??  Luckily, there were even numbers of guys (1) and girls (1) when we went this time.

Summertime: Idaho Style

The Scherbel family celebrates the 4th of July in Idaho on this lake every year.  This year there was plenty of water, boats, kids, jokes...
