Latest Hobbies

Clark has starred solo on this blog for the past few weeks, so here's a look at what Steve and I have been up to.  We've taken up some new family-friendly hobbies including:

Taking walks while pushing a baby

Taking walks while wearing a baby*

*until it gets too hot in which case enter: taking walks while carrying a baby

Cuddling, holding, singing to, and massaging a baby

3 Weeks

Our boy is weighing in at 9 lbs these days...and counting.  What happened to that little bag of bones I brought home from the hospital 3 weeks ago?  Makes me sad to already have to put away his little newborn shirts that are too tight for his cute belly.  Happily, this chubbier version of our son is extra cuddly with his mom and dad which I love!

A Little of This, A Little of That

Everyone always asks who Clark looks more like: Steve or me.  I can't really tell so I let everyone draw their own conclusions.  For reference, here are pictures of all of us at about the same age.

2 weeks

In one week Clark has gained a full pound and grown 3/4" longer.  

He's changing so fast that I make sure to enjoy every moment with him!

They Came From Afar

Clark was lucky enough to have some out-of-town visitors come and stay with us this past week.  Aunt Kara and Grandma Scherbel played with Clark and helped me with errands, housework, and projects (more on that later).  Grandma was a big help teaching me the "mom ropes".  Thanks for making the trip here and for all the help--we're going to miss you!
