Memorial Hike

We celebrated Memorial Day with a morning hike at Memorial Park. We took a hiking/biking trail for about 1.5 miles. Clark rode along on luxury with snacks in one hand and Lego man in the other. I found out the next day he had been mosquito food, but he was a happy little hiker anyway.

This is what you get when you ask Clark to smile for a photo: pure cheese. Eerily similar to Steve's camera smiles as a youth...

Vainy

Growing up at my house, if one of your siblings caught you looking at yourself too long in the mirror you were given the name "Vainy." My little Clark has discovered vanity as well. When he's looking at himself in the camera on my phone he has a routine he does every time: touch nose (this is also how he makes a "pig sound"), touch hair, pull down cheeks, smile, and repeat. 

fundraising

I helped the YW in our ward put on their annual fundraiser last weekend. We held a carnival and silent auction. A fellow fundraiser organizer and talented photographer set up a photo booth with a lot of fun props. Clark tried all the wigs on throughout the night but would only wear one for the picture:

and of course smiling is out of the question.

In 3 Hours...

...a toddler's outfit may change drastically. This is not how he looked when we arrived at church, but this is how he looked when we went home. Pictured below is all of Clark's outfit that was not wet when I picked him up from nursery. Lesson learned: change diaper before nursery.

Add an iPhone game while flying, and does airplanes get any better?!

*this also serves as proof that I actually do dress my child in more than just a white onesie
