Idaho Tradition

We recently returned from a trip to Utah and Idaho. My family has a summer tradition to get together with my dad's family on a lake in rural Idaho. 

 It was fun to see everyone,

of course we took a lot of pictures,

we had the traditional Maddox burgers,

we hung out by the water,

there is always something to fix,

we took walks,

watched spectacular fireworks over the water,

and Clark took his first boat ride. He didn't even mind wearing a life jacket. 

Our glorious trip wasn't without incident, however. When we went to leave, the rig we rode up in wouldn't take us back home. Steve provided us passengers some comic relief by doing his best to look like he was fixing the problem...ha ha.

We enjoyed our extra bit of time outdoors, then hitched rides back home.
