Backpack for a Boy

While on our last trip, I decided that Clark needed his own backpack for future travels. When we got back in town I borrowed a copy of Oliver + S Little Things to Sew from a friend and called on my probably-too-extensive fabric stash for some materials. I changed the pattern up a bit to incorporate design elements from these and these backpacks and came up with this:

Fully lined, padded adjustable straps, and so cute! It's the perfect little place to stow all sorts of little boy treasures. I had a blast making this and love how it turned out. The wheels are already turning for future backpacks. ha! 

Now if I could only convince Clark how cool it is to wear a backpack...Today he wore it for a record 10 seconds before casting it aside, thus the reason for no pictures of him wearing his new accessory. boo.
